Silk protein–stem cell bioink utilized to 3D bioprint cartilage

In an Indian first, researchers from IIT Delhi have combined silk proteins, bone marrow-derived stem cells and certain growth factors in a bioink that produced stable cartilage that lasted for up to six weeks.
