Handheld device able to 3D print live human stem cells
A team of researchers from the ARC Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science (ACES; NSW, Australia) and St Vincents Hospital (Melbourne, Australia) have developed a handheld biopen that allows the printing of human stem cells, giving surgeons the potential to sculpt personalized implants during surgery.
