3D bioprinted precursors that develop in vivo: potential for bone repair

Scientists at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) have developed a process to fabricate bone precursors that mature in vivo using 3D bioprinting, with the aim of repairing large and complex bone defects without the need for bone grafts.
