A patient's perspective: 3D printing, oncology and experience with surgery
In this guest column, Shana Cook (Milwaukee School of Engineering; WI, USA) describes her story following a diagnosis of retroperitoneal leiomyosarcoma. Cook underwent surgical resection to remove the tumor and later found comfort in 3D printing her tumor from her own MRI data.
