Novel study produces 3D printed tissues without a scaffold

Researchers from the University of Illinois (IL, USA) have developed a process that allows 3D bioprinting of tissues without scaffolds and using a bioink that contains only stem cells. Their work has been published in the journal, Material Horizons.
